Home Business for Postcard Marketing

Starting a home business opportunity part-time is a great idea. If you enjoy a good cup of coffee and know your way around a cappuccino machine and coffee bean grinder, you could run your own coffee cart business. Of course, this business opportunity would require some initial cash outlay for licensing, insurance and equipment but there is a huge profit margin for fancy coffee drinks that you could sell near large venues right before major events or even in busy urban areas.

Are you a black belt in karate?

With handiness around the home, you can find a multitude of home business opportunity options. Handyman services are in demand. Painting, wallpaper hanging, plumbing and landscaping are popular as well. A baby proofing business could be marketed to new moms-to-be or even a yard sign service.

Translate your hobby into a home money making business opportunity. If you are handy with crochet needles, create custom beaded jewelry or even make woodworking projects. There will always be a market for something unique. Test the waters and rent a booth at a festival or flea market and see how well your creations sell. After a few selling days, you will have an idea of what sells and what doesn't so you can concentrate your efforts there.

Keep in mind your goals for the postcard marketing. Your first goal is to generate leads. Your second goal is to provide information that leads to sales. For example, if you're sending out mortgage postcards with a great discount, make
sure you're sending these to homeowners and renters. Why market to homeowners when they already have a mortgage? Because homeowners refinance. Homeowners also know
non-homeowners that may
be interested in buying a house soon. They won't know what the best deals are if they don't receive one of your mortgage postcards. They may not be actively
looking for a mortgage like some renters might be. Generate leads for less than $1.00 and give them the information they need for you to make the sale. Do they need to call you? Don't forget to include
your phone number. They should visit your Website.

Send a card for free.
Include an incentive for readers to take action. Include a discount or coupon on the postcard. If you're having a sale, be sure to include an end date for the sale to create a sense
of urgency. People will be motivated to take action if they know they have a limited amount of time.
